The best brunch spots in Nice

TJBy the Timenjoy newsroom · Updated October 2026

Brunch in Nice has a problem: along the tourist routes it is often expensive and interchangeable. The good addresses sit slightly off the main drag, and they are worth the walk.

Four brunches worth the detour, two of them fixed-price: 33 euros all you can eat for one, 29 euros for the other. Book at weekends, these are the busiest slots of the week.

The selection

Au Sud de Nulle Part

Au Sud de Nulle Part

Brunch, books and a courtyard where the noise of Nice finally drops. Coffee, generous plates and a shared library, in a neighbourhood atmosphere that invites you to linger. The opposite of the Promenade brunch.

Le Montalbano

Le Montalbano

Italian home cooking rather than tourist-menu Italian, and you can taste the difference. At weekends the brunch becomes all you can eat for 33 euros, objectively one of the best value formats in the city. Book ahead.

Göz

Göz

Brunch that escapes the scrambled eggs and avocado template, with a 29 euro house formula built on Levantine flavours: generous plates, breads and sunny seasoning. Filling enough to replace lunch outright.

Break

Break

The newcomer on rue du Pont Vieux, with pastries, sandwiches, homemade snacking and sensible prices. Special mention for the crème brûlée roll, which has a decent chance of ending any resolutions you walked in with.

Frequently asked questions

Do you need to book brunch in Nice at the weekend?
Yes, as soon as the room is small. Au Sud de Nulle Part, Le Montalbano, Goz and Break run full on Sundays between 11 and 1. A call the day before is usually enough.
Which brunch should you pick?
Au Sud de Nulle Part and Goz lean savoury and generous. Le Montalbano owns its Italian streak. Break suits you better if you would rather build your own plate than take a set menu.
How is this selection made?
Every place on this list has been visited by the newsroom before it made the cut. We do not republish directories and we do not sell places in the ranking. The list is reviewed at every site update, and a place that closes or slips is taken out.
